    I took this shot up island. it was in a pretty high tree and stayed there a while as they always do so I managed to take a few photos.

    So pleased that you all like the eagle shot. Its a bird worthy of the honor that th U.S. gave it.

    He is a beauty....I still shake my head when I remember seeing one on my lawn when I came home..I am used to seeing them flying above in certain areas but their beauty always excite me...and their size. The juveniles fly in groups here at times.

    A lot of eagles arrive here for the salmon run although there are some around all the time. I often see the juveniles.
