Good ground cover for shady areas. Tender small leaves are injuried easily by walking on but because of rapid growth recovers quickly. I have it growing on the north side of a patio area and under trees to show off ferns. In harder frosts it turns to black mush but comes back quickly in spring.

Have a friend who uses it under benches in her greenhouse. I use it to the top of pots for my houseplants (bulbs and ficus)
