Rating for this plant:
These plants look good if left alone to grow unmanaged, but they look great when shaped like a you would a shrub. Can be shaped to look like ground cover, medium shrubs, tall shrubs, or even a tree. Can be trained to grow on a trellis, lattice, or arbor. A very versatile plant that can be forced into blooming for long periods of time.

I love bougainvillea. It is a lust green plant with flowers in beautiful brillant colors. My problem is I can't keep it blooming. Whats the magic formula? I take plants in house for the winter and they do quite well. Sping time they bloomed nicely, but that was it.

Argh beautiful plant, but its a pain in my behind! It was already in the yard when we moved in, Its laying on the ground the stake is broken and i think it will never stand up because its been down long before we got here. And it doesn't want to move I've tried, so there it will stay! And now I shaped it into a ball....
