Wild grape that is native to the northeastern portion of the USA. Is the parent to many garden cultivars, the most famous is the Concord grape used in juice, and jelly.

Be sure of the identification before eating. Menispermum canadense Canadian Moonseed looks remarkably similar to Fox Grape but is poison when ingested in quantity.
