Have a small yard but would like an evergreen tree? This is a small, very fine needled spruce. It is very slow growing-2 to 4 inches a year not getting taller than 15 feet. Nice structure for winter gardens. This tree makes a lovely outdoor Christmas tree that probably won't out-grow its space. Need to watch for branches that revert back to larger needles/branches and keep the reverted branches trimmed out.
