Lovely variegated red twig dogwood. The variegated foliage is very attractive during the growing season, the red bark of the twigs is very attractive when dormant. In New England these dogwoods are susceptible to the dogwood anthracnose. I have included a picture of the affected leaves, above. In my garden it mars the appearance of the shrub somewhat, but is not unsightly. Still worth growing for its variegated foliage.
