I repainted by kitchen a couple of years ago and we used a base color then a three additional colors that were applied by using rags. Yeah, I love it too and I'm not tired of it yet. Since I picked the Lupines, they have totally perminated the area with their fragrance. Boy, do they ever smell good. Here's another picture of some dried Nodding Needle Grass/ Nassella cernua a CA native. I will load a photo of it in another post.

Lovely!!! I think lupines are so pretty. What is the color there on that wall behind them -- it's a beautiful warm color. Great backdrop for these pretty lupine!
