They are in shade until about 11:00 then in full sun rest of the day.They are all covered by the leaves.But I had them in the same place last year and they didn't do that so I don't know.Matbe that is the problem,Well,look on the bright side, I can have fried green tomatoes and ripe at the same time.LOL.

That is kind of weird. Are your tomotoes planted in full sunlight or partial shade? It is unusual for them to have a definite line between ripeness and unripened. I've never seen that before.
