Description: I bought this plant at the farmer's market. It was in a small container with 6 other plants. I don't know what any of them are called. They all did well but one. My granddaughter killed one recently and two others are doing great. I placed it in this fairly shady spot on the patio. Thanks to tmholding I know know what several of my plants are called. Thank you tmholding.

Thank you! I updated the name. It sounds much better than ?. My mother had some when I was growing up, but I couldn't remember the name. The guy from farmer's market didn't know. I think he was selling his wifes plants. they weren't very well taken care of when I bought them. I knew I could nurse them back to life though. Barbara

Very pretty and healthy. Love those bright greens. It appears to be a 'corn plant'. Dracaena fragrans. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Corn_Plant
