Hellebores will self seed but it twill take 3 years to establish and bloom. Flowers of these seedlings may not resemble parent plant. In general they do not like to be transplanted. I have transplanted young plants 1-2 years old with good success as long as you dig a large rootball and keep it well watered until it becomes established.
