Inch wide leaves, clumps but spreads by rhizomes. Needs to be cut back because it goes dormant to semi-dormant so leaves get tacky in winter.

Very striking plant. Foliage is beautiful and provides a great contrast with green plants. Grown more for its foliage that it's blooms, but flowers are a nice bonus.

Had grown this as a house plant with moderate success. Not a long lived house plant, but little plants appear where the stem meets the leaf. Propagation is easy with adequate humidity. Use a gravel tray with water under plant.

This primrose is easily divided since it has off-shoots that form substantial roots. In my moist woodland area the leaves have remained attractive throughout the summer and had numerous fragrant blooms in the spring and rebloom in fall.

Great workhorse of a daylily, small of stature, but big impact. With repeat blooms.

I would consider this a good bloomer and an eye catcher in the garden. I just had my last bloom about 8/24.

I absolutely LOVE this plant, but it dies back and leaves a giant gap in the garden mid to late summer. Make sure to have annuals to fill in around it for some late summer color :)
