What is your most used herb or herbs? And do you grow your own or buy it fresh or in the little plastic bottle? Now no recipes here but what do you use the herb on?

I can't choose. We grow chives, thyme, lemon thyme, Salvia and oregano here, and use them all for cooking.

I have been growing herbs the last 2 years but really need to learn how to dry and use them in cooking. Don't really have that one special fav yet. I do grow chives, sage, peppermint, oragino, chamomile, parsley, garlic, lavendar.

It's hard to choose a favorite. I use garlic every day. Basil and oregano a lot too. I grow all of my herbs with the exception of garlic. I buy more ginger than I grow, the plants are so pretty I hate to dig them up for their root. I am having a love affair with smoked paprika at the moment...roast chicken with smoked paprika and sea salt is my comfort food...ok, one of my comfort foods.

Basil basil and more basil. (PS: Basil)

As stated in a previous message... if I could bottle it... I'd wear it as perfume! [/i]

For me it would have to be basil hands down. To b honest that is the only one I have had sucess in growing. I have tried thyme, oregano and rosemary and have had no luck. boohoooo.
