i was wondering if anyone could solve a mystery for me pleasssse, there has to be an answer somewhere. I have in my garden a wild rose that rooted itself and we have grown rather fond of and about two weeks ago whilst admiring it i noticed what looks like small red balls that have formed on the leaves spread across some of the branches, my husband picked one off and looked at it and although it doesn't appear to be a parasite im not convinced they look very like round miniature rose hips yet i cant see how this would be happening from the leaves i am sure i could get a photo soon if it would help anyone identify the cause thank you for taking time reading this and i look forward to finding out the cause of this mystery playtime - the newbie gardener
