Does anyone know where I can get some plants or seeds of the Golden Shower Tree (Cassia Fistula). There is one very close to where I live and it is one of the most beautiful trees I have ever seen. it is covered with yellow flowers and I would love to have a few for my yard. I know this tree well Coach, we call it "Golden Rain" here.---but I don't live there so it'd be difficult to say where you coud lay your hands on one. I can tell you that here if one wants to buy such a tree, he goes to a garden center and buys it there or asks them to order it for him. You could try that... A further possibility for you is to search the mail-order Garden Centers on the internet. If you're willing to pay their prices and the shipping you could have one within a couple of weeks, I'd bet. I buy some plants this way (when there is no alternative) and until now it has worked just fine. Good luck.

I found one seed source for the tree. http://www.seedsandmore-store.com/catal ... e/pd361088 otherwise I would suggest you get to know whoever owns the land where the tree is growing and get some seed from them.
Have you found your Gold Shower tree seeds. I have some and can't use them all. Willing to trade. Gardengater
