    Good afternoon to all, at the moment here in my part of the U.K. we are having a rather haphazard summer, with pretty strong winds, very little sunshine, plenty of grey skies and drizzle, but I must confess I am ever optimistic that things will improve, every morning when I draw back the curtains I live in hope we will have wall to wall sunshine for at least 1 whole day.     Good morning all. 102 yesterday, just didn't quite make it to 103..isn't that too bad. But on the 'brite' side there are several more days of 100+ coming up so we just might yet. :rolleyes:

    Gardengater, I think you and I will miss most of the benefits from Hurricane Dolly. This one is going thru the lower
    Gulf and is expected to hit land in far northern Mexico with a glancing blow to far south Texas. Budagardener should get some storms and maybe as far north as Glenda too.

    It's not morning anymore but I wish everyone a good day anyway. I had to do the last summer reading program today and a good time was had by all with much laughter during games and prize giving. It's hot and humid and it's supposed to storm this afternoon. Have a good evening. dooley

    We had a little rain early in the morning. THe weatherman also predicted the temperatures to drop again. Sooo - I am making myself confortable with a mug of coffee and Stew (GardenStew that is).
