I am a 58 year old high school teacher living in the British Virgin Islands. I am originally from the island country of Barbados, and have been here for 11 years. The British Virgin Islands are part of the archipelago which contains the United States Virgin Islands and Puerto Rico. I know the outdoor gardening conditions would be different here, but since I am growing things in pots, I am sure I can get lots of help here.

Hi Bajanne, welcome to GardenStew from hot and extremely dry north Texas. Do you have pictures of your plants, we would love to see what you are growing. What subject do you teach? My oldest daughter teaches 6th and 7th grade science.
Welcome, Bajanne, from coastal Carolina. I think our climate would be close to yours, hot and humid. Am I right? I would love to know what grows in your beautiful area of the world. Glad you've joined us. Gardengater
