I have made a few pics over the last week which could be called the `peak of the garden season´, I guess. Today the garden already looks like it´s on the downhill side to me. Sjoerd, you always have such wonderful pics. I love to take pics with the bees in them, they are quick though. I can't pick a favorite but that hollyhock is close, I've never seen one with those pretty ends (almost ruffle like). And the butterfly bush comes in second, that one is on my list. Thanks for sharing.
Toni...it was a great disappointment about thode chocolate cosmeas. I am thinking that next year, I will raise them indoors to a decent size before planting them ouside. I hope this way they will avoid pests and too much wetness. Thanks Glenda and 'T'. I like mixing the hollyhocks to have different types of flower petal margins as well as various colour combinations.
