That's Kentucky for the folks across the pond. Happy to be here, hope to make some new friends and learn more gardening stuff. I have to be careful about gardening because I have an allergic reaction to the sun because of medication, but I still try to have some flowers and herbs around our small yard. If you are on daily meds that has a warning about going out in direct sunlight, heed the warning, especially if you have sensitive skin. Now if I could banish the nasty Japanese Beetles I would be so very happy. Hope everyone has a great weekend, Tam

Hi TamTam, welcome to the Stew from hot, humid and still rainless north Texas. Hope you stay around for a long time. We would love to see pictures of your flowers and herbs.

Welcome to Gardenstew, TamTam. We like to welcome new members. I am from coastal, NC, but we are a global community. We share gardens big and small and learn much from each other. gardengater
Thanks Gardengater, and yes, it is so neat to be able to see gardens and talk to gardeners from other countrys. I find it very inspirational! :-D Thanks for the welcome everyone.
Welcome TamTam from So. ME. I've had a wicked problem with those Japanese beetles this year also. I've never had them before. I couldn't even get traps for the longest time. Now I've got them but need to get them out. I hope you enjoy it here...it's like a big happy family.
