Having hardly any time for gardening, much less vegetable gardening, the idea of incorporating a few easy care edibles into the landscape is really appealing. Some plants that readily come to mind: blueberry bushes chives cherry trees tomatoes An artful tomato trellis can really dress up this veggie. And who can resist the blooms of a cherry tree? Chives have a lovely little flower on them -- and my son has always loved being able to pick and chew on a stem. Blueberry bushes don't travel like raspberries and if you don't harvest, don't worry. The birds will help you out. So, any other ideas / experience on using edibles in the landscape?
How about some fruit trees? We have apples, pears, cherries and plums in our garden. You could also try quince bushes, raspberries, strawberries - the list is endless. :-D
