:-D Hi Everyone, i am not really new here, I have been a member for a long time, but I left last fall to take care of my mother when she became ill and I didn't come back until I got an email last week that I had a message here. Stratsmom came looking for me! Thanks Stratsmom. I have spent the past couple of days looking around and I figured it was about time to re-introduce myself and say Hi. I live on a small barrier Island between Myrtle beach and Charleston SC and I love it. I can garden almost year round and I am so lost those couple of months when I can't that I just go crazy. I am an absolute plant and seed addict. I love to plant and trade and I have met some of my best friends thru my gardening passions. I have worked in and out of the plant industry for the past 17 years. I am looking forward to meeting everyone and trading again too. Thanks, Linda
Welcome back Linda. Hope your Mom is doing better now. You have a lot of catching up to do, the forum has grown by leaps and bounds this year. BTW, have we ever seen a picture of your garden? Hint, hint
Welcome back, seedfreak. The more the merrier. Please, some photos, they would be more than welcome. I like to see other people's scenery too, as well as their gardens.
Hi there Linda - good to see you back here with us. :mrgreen I hope your mother's health has greatly improved and that she's enjoying life again. WELCOME BACK.
Thanks so much for the welcome. I hope to be posting regularly soon. I will be taking new pictures as things progress in some of my redesigns and I will post them as I learn how. I think I saw a tutorial for that, so I need to spend some time there. Also is there a spot for tropicals? Thanks, Linda
Hi seedfreak, I'm in Kuwait now but I have a home on Daniel Island, SC (just outside of Charleston). I am glad to meet another Lowcountry gardener!
Hello from a fellow South Carolinian Welcome Linda and I am glad to see another from SC on here. I am from the area near South of the Border. Am new to gardening, but hope to make it a wonderful hobby.
Hi Linda I'm glad Deanna went looking for you .Welcome back .I do remember you.I hope the illness in your family is better now. My cousin lives in Goose Creek,S.C.
Thanks everyone, it is nice to be back. I will try not to disappear again. Thanks for your wishes, Mom took several falls and ended up breaking her leg and having steel plates put in it. She is 71 and diabetic, so the healing process was extremely hard for her.She is much better now though. It is amazing how many people I have met online through my gardening addiction that live close by. I think it is great. Kuntrygal, texas is nice too. LOL Anyway, just popping in to say hi, Maybe I will see you in the posts or we can trade.... Seedfreak
