When I was growing up I wanted to be a vet because I love all animals, then as I got older a police officer then I went into the army I was going to be a miliyary police but I hurt my back so that put an end to that idea, now I have been working as an insurance agent for going on 6 years now its not my dream job but it helps put food on the table for me and my 3 kids. I would love to go back to school and become a RN but I can't afford it.

I always wanted to be a Ninja growing up, but I had to settle for customer service and computers.

From the time I was about 10 years old, I wanted to join the Navy. I was in love with the old bell bottom uniform. I watched every Navy movie made about the Navy in WWII. I probably saw all of the old Victory at Sea series at least 10 times each. When I joined, I had turned 18 in March, the 9th of April 1962 I took my physical. I graduated from high school on the 28th of May and left for boot camp on June 5th. Twenty two years later I got out. I ws in continuously for the 22 years. Now I don't really miss the Navy, but I do miss a lot of the people I knew. There is a special comraderie amongst military people that is hard to explain. But for someone that was ever in the military, they understand. But I found out that once you made a friend, they were a friend for life. I have people that I made friends with 54 years ago, and I still hear from them, mostly by email. Now that is friendship! 8)
