    Hi everyone,

I am new here and am looking for suggestions on plants that grow well in pots and in the shade. I have a screened in porch that I would like to put some on but it doesn't get hardley any sun. So any suggestions would be great. Thanks for your help in advance.

Elephant ears and Caladiums do great! in the shade. Caladiums add lots of color. Good luck! And welcome!

My all-time favorite shade plant for pots is the tuberous begonia.

Well, a meter is just a hair longer than a yard, so figure 9 yards (27 feet). I'll have to go take a wander through that site myself as I have some shady, dry areas that could really use something green.

Wow  thats a pretty big tree it says they are slow growing so maybe it would be okay in a big pot for now as long as I don't get a great big one. What do you think?
