Hi everyone. I just moved here in US and I am quite fascinated taking shots of these flowers. These are not good shots, I am still learning how...Can you please help me identify what these flowers are called? I have no idea what they are since I don't see them from where I originally came from. Thanks in advance. PINK FLOWER YELLOW FLOWER SMALL FLOWERS
welcome Welcome Mak98 from coastal NC. We are a very friendly group and someone can always answer questions. The yellow trumpet like flowers are Daylilies, or Hemarocallis, the small yellow ones in clusters may me yellow Lantana and the bottom picture is Lantana as well. The first picture is very familiar, I think a shrub that grows here in NC as well. Someone will id it for you.
Thanks for your replies. Somebody told me the pink ones are called pink lilies or oriental lilies but I compared that picture with some photos I found online and they don't seem to be the same.
The pink flowers look like Oleander to me scroll down the list to find it: You can also find your yellow plant on here, the 2nd plant: http://images.google.com/imgres?imgurl= ... U%26sa%3DN It is Allamanda. The last two are lantana. Beware that all parts of the Oleander are poisonous if ingested.
You temptress Netty! See, now I am thinking of where I can get one and treat it as a houseplant, moving it out during the summer months, then back into the conservatory for the winter.....
These flowers are really nice and the picture quality is simply amazing. The yellow one looks really fascinating.
For someone who is just learning how to take photographs of plants you are doing extremely well as your piccies are all lovely. :-D I especially like the pink oleander.
