Hi everyone. I live on the island of Oahu, Hawaii and am interested in almost anything outdoors. I was born and raised in Illinois and moved over here about 9 months ago.
Welcome from coastal North Carolina. You've moved to a paradise and I'd love to see photos of your flora and fauna. Settle in and enjoy the "stew". Gardengater
Andrew, hi again! What part of Oahu do you live. We stayed in the Kahala area the first time and the north end the second time. Also visited Maui, in the Kaalapalani area. That was beautiful, and not as commercialized as Oahu. Glad to have you with us.
Welcome from Illinois. I was in Hawaii on a long layover once and thought the island was very pretty. Wannabe
Hello Andrew. What a wonderful place you've moved to. Now we know who to ask for advice on any plants that grow in your part of the world. WELCOME to GardenStew from Scotland. :-D
Aloha Andrew, welcome to the stew. What brought you to Hawaii? My brother & his family live there. He is in the coast guard. My Mom (83 yrs) is going there for the winter. Her 3rd trip. A BIG Welcome to you. You'll love it here. Suzanne from Berkshire MA.
Welcome to the Stew, Andrew. I'd really like to see some scenery from Hawaii. It's very different from Norway, and seeing different is always fun.
Hello and welcome Andrew, from the Norwegian Arctic. Big difference in our locations. We both live on islands and i would love to see pics of yours.
Well i would post some pics because their is alit of great potential for some real good ones on the island, but a digi cam is one of those many things on my 'yet to buy' list. However i am slowly working my way to it so when i finally get one i will be shure to post some great foliage, sunset, mountain and beach pictures. Im shure you all can relate to this certain 'list', you know the one that never stops growing? well anyways, thank you all for the warm welcome, this seems like a rely helpful and friendly forum so i plan on hanging around with lots of questions if you all don't mind.
Hello Andrew and welcome to our Stew from Central Texas.Welcome aboard . I know how it is not to have a digi camera.I got one of those little cameras that cost about $20.00 on sale at WalMarts for less.Hey it worked and they hold from 100 to 200 photos .My daughter finally felt sorry for me and gave me a good one for Mothers Day.I would love to see Hawaii.
Welcome from Wisconsin...so you wanted a change of weather from your old place...you picked a beautiful one.. Sherry
