Thanks once again everyone. It was great to hear from so many people worldwide.
I remember Scotland as I met my American wife there. That is the reason I ended up in Michigan!
I would love to share some pictures of Norfolk Island with you all but need some help about posting pictures to this site, or do I have to do it through my newly started blog? I'm not really that "techo"!!!

Welcome to the Stew from east Texas. Kevin, it sounds like you are really in demand to get those photos posted. No pressure! I/we would really love to see them. We can sit here and day dream as we look at them! ;)

My first attempt of publishing pictures of Norfolk Island. A view from Queen Elizabeth Lookout to Philip and Nepean Islands. Lots of Norfolk Island Pines and a view of some of the colonial buildings situated on Quality Row in Kingston. The grassy area is the local 9 hole golf course.

Welcome aboard and to the Great Lakes State of Michigan.

We aren't the subtropics, but Michigan has a lot to offer, like the biggest fresh water lakes around.

I'm from the Grand Rapids area.
