Hello guys and girls id like to first point out interior design is such a foreign concept to me and this has become so true thease last few days. Ive painted to walls and now im stuck. My budget is modest (new carpet, bed some fittings).

    Here are a few pictures.

Ive looked at a few carpet samples and none of then feel right. Does anyone have any ideas on flooring(what would go nice with the walls)?

The walls are Dulux Arctic surf 2. im not willing to repaint all the walls but ive seen in some photos where people painting different sections of wall different colours. If anyone has any ideas on this i would love to hear them.

What colours should i be looking at for fittings. Im willing to repaint the trim to make it look better.

im looking to create a really friendly room and open to put alot of work in but ideas wise im stuck so any feedback will be really apreciated.

Hi Luke24, I'm not an expert when it comes to the type of flooring to use but I can possibly help you out with a choice of colours. Here are some complementing colours I mocked up with a tool, they may provide you with some ideas:

The first colour is the one you currently have on your walls, the rest are potential floor colourings (maybe not the black though :))

i saw the pics, you made a good choice, the color is something new....
i saw what frank suggested...i totally agree with the colors, however, the gray next to the first one works really good with it....you can use the other colors for the rest of the accessories.just make sure to use one or two items of them with an outstanding color to reveal move beauty.
