Maybe it is your soundcard gone bad. Look back in the computer forum and see if there aren't others who have had this problem and see if maybe you might be able to find some help there! Good luck.

It may be that the driver you need is either not working or is not loaded properly. Most manufacturers have downloadable drivers on their website. Hope that helps.

Yes I believe it is a driver issue also. There should be a little plus icon next to the entries with exclamation marks. Click this and then right click any exclamation marks in the newly expanded list. Choose update driver and Windows will prompt you to search for new drivers. You may have to insert your Windows disc and let it search through that.

    Does this make sense ScFan?

I did what u said, but windows warned me: the hardwer cant be installed bacause the apropriate software cant be found.

My brother advised me to check the type of the motherboard, and then download the apropriate soundcard driver for that.
So i will do that in the evening and i hope then it will work.
Thx for your help anyway. In the worst case, i will buy a new soundcard.

I don't know if you have already solved the problem but I think you would need to download something called Everest to find out what drivers you need to download. Then just search for it on Google and I'm sure you'll find a solution. I should know, I've had a bad experience with both audio and video card.

Either your sound card is not working or might be possible that their drivers are not properly installed

Try a program called "Unknown Devices" to find what the driver is and replace it by downloading the correct driver.

I think that you are not uploaded your sound driver properly or otherwise there may be some problem in your sound card.
