I have several Thanksgiving Cactus and they are not in a pretty shape, is there a way to shape them as they grow to keep some kind of a form to their size? If I can figure out how I will add some pictures.

Thank you for your comments, I guess my Mom is ingrained in me, she thinks all plants are supposed to stand upright. Guess I will just enjoy then.

They're all looking great! My granny had them hanging from a beam near the windows to enjoy their blooms better.

My mum has one in her kitchen that grows well and flowers every year I know them as Christmas cacti, I havent seen the peachy coloured ones before they are so pretty, I do adore the plants maybe I will get one for here this year I would just have to learn what care they need to do well.

I have always called them Christmas cactus. What is the difference between a T'giving, Christmas and Easter cactus? Can you post a picture of your Easter cactus?

There are three different 'holiday cactus' types.

Christmas cactus is Schlumbergera bridgessii and have pointed lobed leaves.

Thanksgiving cactus is Schlumbergera truncatus very similar to the Christmas cactus.

Easter cactus is Rhipsalidopsis gaertnerii and has rounded leaves.

You can make a Christmas cactus to bloom at Easter and an Easter Cactus to bloom later in the year but that is just rescheduling the blooming time.
Each type includes many hybrids too.
