G_6909.jpg Hey! can anyone help me identify these plants? I purchased them and realized later that they didn't come with an ID and I don't know how to take care of them. The palm looking one I think is a kentia palm(?) the other one(two pics) I have no clue. If you could help, I'd greatly appreciate it!!!!! Thanks! Angie
The first one looks like a coffee tree. Bear with me and my slow dial-up connection while I look at the others
Yes, the first 2 are definitely Coffea arabica. The Palm looks like a Parlour Palm in the first picture, but a Kentia Palm in the 3rd
You know Netty...I was thinking that it also looks a bit like a Gardenia. It's difficult to tell the thickness of the leaves though. I reckon that you are probably right though.
Thank you for such quick replies!! I looked online at pictures of both the Coffee tree and a Gardenia. It looks like both are a very, very close possibility. Is there something else I should photograph- maybe try and capture the thickness of the leaves? This plant was only $3 in the indoor plant section at Walmart- which makes me think that it would be a Gardenia more than the Coffee tree. But I don't know.... Let me know what else I can do. Thanks!
I'm not too familiar with Gardenia. But that plant looks identical to a Coffee Plant that I got at Walmart several years ago. It hated me and anything I tried to do for it. It didn't survive I'm afraid :'(
