How fabulous! I wish I could grow fruit in pots here. I couldn't figure them all out either..I think some are Olives?
Hi Toni and Netty, apricots-peaches-almonds-plumes- pistachio-nuts and the last lemons. In the above photos, there are n't olives. I will upload in a few days olives photos from my pots. Netty, if you have a Greenhouse you can grow fuit trees in pots, is very easy. Toni inform me please about your winter minimum temperature in your area at winter time. Or if you have space in your home, you can move the pots in your house. Exept olives, all other fruit trees throw down their leaves at winter time, so those trees are stronger as you think in cold, but not at freezing temperature. John
Fab pics John! Most impressive. I have a little peach tree in a pot, the peaches only ever get about apricot size, but they are gorgeous. I love the pistachio nut tree - that I have never seen, and to be honest, I have never given a thought about how they grow! Very tempting to give that a go, altho I don't know how it would get on in the chilly UK temperatures. Amazing trees, very jealous!
thanks EJ, yes also mine peaches are smaller, like apricots, but the taste is wondefull. You can grow at winter time in a greenhouse or in your home if you have a space. Many people grow plumerias also in UK, why not fruit trees? I grow also plumerias, seedlings (from seeds), but unfortunally are only 1 year old and of course did n't blooming yet. John
