These are the last two geraniums for the year. I carried the geraniums over to the library on Wednesday and loaded them into Dan's truck. I am hopeful that they will bloom again next year. I've had them for three years. It has been freezing here a few nights but they were still putting out new blooms. I never brought them in for the winter. I just moved them into the screen room.

Really lovely Dooley. I've just moved all mine into the greenhouse in the hope that they will survive the winter.

Wow! Those are really brilliant. Sometimes the last flowers are the prettiest.
Will you take these with you?

I gave most of the portable plants to Dan. I'm hoping with his care they will grow for him and bloom again next year. We're not taking plants. Glenda has already lined up enough free plants to fill the yard and we can buy some in the spring to finish the job. I had those geraniums for three years. I bought them at the end of a season for two dollars each at WalMart. They were getting pretty big though so I had to give them to someone who really wanted them. dooley

Wow! Dooley those are really nice! What color! You made my day, I've got nothing but bald trees and dead flowers around me. I really needed that. Thanks for sharing.

They are very pretty! I really like a good, red bloom. :D Since they have to overwinter indoors here, we don't have them, but stick to the hardy outdoors geraniums. I'm glad you've found them good homes.

Sorry to hear that you had to give them away, Dooley. Perhaps you can come back and the folks will let you take some cuttings to propagate. ;) That sort of geranium propagates rather easily.
