Oh dear EJ what an awful time you have had this Xmas and you were so looking forward to having a nice one with just the Five of you. Hope everyone gets better soon. Nasty bugs out there jsut now. I don't take down my decorations until 5th January. They are normally kept up until after Hogmanay and down before 12th Night. I wish this weekend was over and done with, everywhere closes for 2 days or longer in Scotland. aaarrrhhhh.
Awwww EJ what a Christmas you've all had. Definately not the way you were hoping to celebrte it I'm sure!! I hope everyone will be on the mend come New Year.
EJ, how's everyone in your household feeling now? Hope they haven't all passed on their germs to you.
Aww, thanks everyone. Yes, the big day didn't turn out how I hoped, but at least now everyone is on the mend. It really knocked mum for six, but she is almost back to normal. I drive her home tomorrow. Mark is still coughing, as is James, and of course, now I am! However if I get the lurgee, I won't be able to take to my bed as I will still have to cook and clean and run house! GGRR. Oh well, I shall scoff all of the clemantines that are left to fill up on Vitamin C and try to fight this flu bug off.
Yes EJ, us mothers never get to stay in bed to get better...there is always something needs to be done! Do try to delegate some of your responsibilities to others so you can get well. You deserve it!
Im Glad its all over, We have been eating anything we fancy, including chocolate and I now Need a Good Dinner, Roast Beef and Yorkshire Pudding, Mmmmm
