My favourite hobby is paper crafting. I make cards, calendars and framed pictures. I also like to sketch and, of course, I thoroughly enjoy gardening. :stew2:

I used to go through books like potato chips, but no time for reading at this point! I am a hobby-addict, but only things I can tackle for short bursts, oil painting, sketching, watercolor cards, a little wool spinning, pretty much making anything, and when the weather turns good, trying to make things grow in my rocky prairie acreage.

Gardening is my all-time favorite. Though we can't afford traveling a lot, I enjoy the short trips we've taken and getting great photos. I do whatever inspires me at the time, knit, sew, make shadow boxes from shell, glass, dried material found at the beach, swim.

I have never told anyone how I make them except my daughter. Its a little different than the regular way.I had a huge business at one time.My scent throw on them is wonderful .I had to slow down making them as I was working 42 hours as a security guard and 4o to 50 hours in my candles .I had my first heart attack doing to many hours working and to me playing.

Wow, hope you've slowed down now. Sometimes we need to put our health first, though.
