I have a 24' in diameter swimming pool. I have a 1 foot border around it with nothing but small rocks. I was wandering if I can and what would be good, small plant to go around it. Not likely but is possible for a splash or two from kids in the pool.
Planting around Your Pool Would suggest that you consider using planters and containers around your pool - they can be moved around when needed and they always look great.
I agree planters are probably the best way to have plants around your pool especially if the water has chlorine in it.
Plus you want plants that don't 'shed' leaves or flowers that will clog up your pool filter. And nothing that will be harmful to the kiddos if they brush against it and definitely not an Oleader or other poisonous plant.
Yea I see what you are saying about pots so I can move them around. Not worried about clogging the filter, I forgot to tell you that it is an above ground pool. Just looks a little bare.
Do you have anything built up around the border like bricks or such? If so I would maybe go with iris' the would stay contained or some that is hardy like that.
