Getting close to being done. All of the cabinets are done, just have to cut and put up new molding, grout the floor and then hook up the drain and water lines once the countertop and sink gets installed. We are slowly getting our kitchen back. Oh yeah, I almost forgot, have to buy under cabinet lights and get them installed too.

More pics! It's starting to be a kitchen again! The cabinets are all up. The paneling is all up. The only other big thing left is the stone counter top. That will be another week or so. I need to call them tomorrow and see if there is an estimate on it. This first pic is the main corner.

This is the circular stairs to the basement.

And this is the blank wall with the new cabinets. In the before pic, there were 3 cabinets setting on the floor.

They still have the floor to grout and trim to put on. Once the counter top and sink are in, he can finish up the plumbing.

That's one lovely kitchen! Your door knobs are very nice, I could have picked those myself.

Wow, looking good. I am excited for you! We are starting to plan some work for our kitchen this spring as well but we will be leaving the existing cabinets I think. I like your tile and the door knobs are wonderful. What color granite did you pick? And what type of sink?

They also got the floor grouted and that's all done. They got some other small stuff done and are done until the counter top gets installed. The new sink is an undermount single sink. The counter top is a Sile Stone to. It is basically a man made stone counter top. The base color is a medium brown with lighter flecks of stone in it. It's called Sierra Madre.

Oh I want door handles like that in my kitchen. You've chosen ones that I would have been drawn to straight away. Shows that we all have great taste here at GardenStew doesn't it? :stew2:

Looking Good Capt. When we remodeled, and added on to our home, the work included an entirely relocated and new kitchen, and we chose Home Depot for the tile, the cabinets and the counter tops. Sile Stone was also our choice, and I can say that after 3 ½ years, we love it. Absolutely no regrets. I'm sure you will love it too. It looks wonderful.

I spent the last 2 days recycling the old cabinets. They are going up in my workshop. :)
