I just found a before and after picture of my "Welcome" Garden
This was taken before I started in August 2003. We had just moved into the house and this was the mess at the end of the driveway.

And this one was taken in August 2005

And this one was taken fall 2008. I must admit it looks a little overgrown here. The rocks around the edge are hardly visible anymore.

Isn't it fun to see pictures of before, makes you realize just how much work you have done.

I can't decide if I like 2005 or 2008 better, they are both so different looking....so each is gorgeous in it's own way.

This garden seems to look completely different in each season, doesn't it?
I think I like Summer (picture 2) the best :)

What a transformation Netty. Really beautiful both photos but I love autumnal colours so pic No. 2 (2008) is my favourite :stew2:

Oh my - you sure put in a lot of work and it paid off.And more, your garden looks different every time.
Different and each time with its own beauty and color scheme. Lovely - overgrown or not for fall 2008 - it just shows all the love that you put in your garden and how it wants to return the love. :stew2:
