I have planted these 6 around my pool but not sure if they will live. I have found they need cold weather and we in Florida just have maybe about 2 weeks out of the year where it gets 40 degrees or below never going lower than 26 degrees. But we shale see :-D

Good luck with the tulips, you can always dig them up after the leaves have died down and store them in the bottom of the fridge for a few weeks to give them that cold time.

Interesting good to know! About what time of year would you suggest. I know you don't know my weather and all plants very but maybe a round about time to start looking for this to happen. Just in case they possibly die way early I'm not watering dead plants

I'd wait until the foliage dies back newgrow, and then dig them up.

    Your Tulips

Sounds like an excellent idea. Just dig them up when finished and then you can perhaps keep them until next year. What will you then plant next???

I am supposing all tulips are hardy?

Some of mine are up now with snow an ice, but that is our culture here.. Now sure how the south bulbs take it .

    Will stratify them..LOL :D
