    Hello,
Just wanted to introduce myself to all of the members here at GardenStew. I am 41yrs old,
my hubby and I have been together for almost 12 yrs.
    I have 3 step-children and 1 step-granddaughter.

Some of my many hobbies are gardening, sewing, crafting and photography. I also enjoy yard sales,
flea markets and any kind of good Freebie...

Currently I am working on a quilt top made completely out of clothing labels. So if any of you have some
to spare, let me know. This project may take forever
to finish, but will definitely be a one of a kind quilt..

Hope to get to know alot of you, and learn and share tons of ideas and info....Crafty Bee

Welcome Craftybee, I love the sound of your quilt top, you must be very patient! I remove all my clothing labels, so I'll start a collection for you!
In Australia we call yard sales and flea markets, garage sales and swap meets, but they're one and the same and I love them too. I have picked up all manner of weird and wonderful items over the years. I spent months hunting down crockery, vases and ornaments featuring roses to make a mosaic a couple of years ago, it was a most fulfilling project once it was finally completed.
Enjoy GardenStew! :setc_083: It's got my thumbs up!

    Ophelia

Hi Craftybee, welcome to GardenStew from north Texas.

I used to quilt now I have gone back to knitting. I love garage sales and thrift stores too. We would love to see pictures of the clothing label quilt, that does sound like a life long project.

    Thanks for the warm welcome

Thanks everyone for such a warm welcome, and hearing from people everywhere. I am really looking forward to sharing some of my crafts, garden ideas and such.
I spent alot of time last night just looking over the site and seeing so much involvement the members do. Looks like a great place to learn and grow in friendships and gardens alike.

Special thanks to Ophelia for keeping me in mind for the clothing labels. I will share a photo real soon of what I have started.
