I just moved to Citrus CO. 2.5 years ago from Sunny south florida. I brought some of my plants and orchids with me but they are not doing too well as they are used to warm weather all year round and in this area we get hard freezes in the winter. I just got some herb seed that I'm hoping that they start to grow along with some zuchinni, tomatoes and watermelons. I hope to be in here a lot posting my pictures and asking lots of questions.

Hi Barb, welcome to GardenStew from north Texas. Really looking forward to any pictures you want to share.
Where in south Florida? I lived in West Palm Beach for 5 years, moved back home to Texas 32 years ago I missed the change of seasons so much.

Hi Barb, welcome to GardenStew from a fellow newbie and Floridian! I used to live in Ft. Lauderdale, and even here in Orlando it's a big change.
Look forward to swapping seed stories!

Hi from northeast Wisconsin! It's starting to warm up here now, but we have a ways to go before all the snow melts and the lake breaks open. Good luck adjusting your plants to their new environment.
