Skins for fridges, not like small magnets but full size skins. So the question is - has anyone used this kind of decorating? Do they last, can I do it myself, any strong pros or cons? I would kind of want one, but have some doubts. Thanking in advance Marfa skin for a fridge ( photo / image / picture from Marfa's Garden )
I've never seen or heard of this. But I'll be web searching refrigerator skins. Even if it is sort of like contact paper, it might help me out. When my fridge died four years ago, my son brought me an older almond colored side-by-side. The price was right--free. Apparently a neighbor of his got a new one because the ice maker no longer worked. I don't care about an ice maker or any of that. But geeze, this monster is ugly.
I've seen things like this for dusbtins and cupboard doors but never for 'fridges. I would imagine they work in the same way as rolls of sticky-backed plastic though so don't see why they wouldn't be a good idea. As long as the printed side is wipe clean then they would certainly cheer up an old or ugly refrigerators.
Marfa, I've never seen such a thing either but it sure is cute. Does it stick like a magnet, did you say? Not with glue? That would be very fun, I think. If you get one, send us a review!!!
That is rather cute. Mine is getting dingy also.. I have a goofy one in the basement yellow an hate it too. Maybe I can paper that one.. Gee my own standing quilt. b
Hi everybody, well I guess, i´m gonna be the firstone then. They say it´s adhesive film - so i guess it´s like regular sticker. As much as I understood it´s plastic layer on my fridge. If it doesn´t kill my fridge, it only makes it stronger - right? So I´m ordering one today - let you know (see) how it turns out. All the best Marfa
Maybe it sticks like those window films, have you ever seen them? Different designs, often for holidays. You moisten the window and the film sticks by way of static of some sort. I can't wait to see how it goes for you. Don't forget to update us OK?
Got the sticker Hi!! I just got the sticker few days ago! I try to get it done as soon as possible. It´s helluva time in the garden though. I do my best to make it and I´ll let you know, how it turned out. Regards Marfa
