Unexpected Results

I didn't order tiger flowers; they were a substitution by the nursery for whatever it was I did order. But what a pleasant surprise! :-D Has anyone else had a similar experience: what you planted was not what you thought, but it turned out to be beautiful?

Thanks! These flowers bloom in the early morning, and by noon they are gone! I was running out to the garden every morning to see what color had appeared that day.

This is a Tigridia pavonia, also called a Mexican shell flower. I'm glad y'all like it! :-D

 

I have 3 different colrs and I think yours are a bit more colorful than mine.I really like those bulbs.
