I've been living in our dream retirement home for nearly a year. We are celebrating the fact that we made it through a challenging winter. Now we get to enjoy the early spring plants that had already gone by when we moved in. some I've yet to identify. For years now I've tinkered with kitchen and herb gardening. Last year was an exception in that I only had time for a large pot of assorted herbs on the south porch. This year I hope to do more but I also have a new water garden and wonder if this new interest may supersede the other. I look forward to sharing my experience both past and future. In return I hope to learn much from my new internet community. I have six grandchildren ranging in age from eight months to 14 years old. They all will be with us this summer and love to help us outside.
