The only bugs Ive seen in the garden have been some ants. The way I understood it, ants don't eat veggie plants. One of my squash was totally eaten, and possibly some cucumbers. Rain probably drowned it though. I tried using an insecticide, bottle said it wouldn't burn the leaves, but I wonder.

    Help please : (

Those are strange-looking damages, Thomas. Hopefully some veggie-growers will be along shortly to help you.

The damage on the beans looks like what Japanese beetles did to mine a couple of years ago. Row covers can help...there are breathable types available from garden supply stores. Another idea before resorting to chemicals is to spray the plants with a mixture of hot pepper sauce and water. It makes the leaf unappealing to the bugs, just like to humans. Best bet is to spray top and bottom of the leaves.
One other possibility is slugs and since squash and cucumber leaves are close to the ground, it's a possibility. You might want to take a leaf to a local garden center or the extension center if it's convenient and see what the professionals there can suggest.

Try the old dish of beer in the garden and see what you come up with. My typical slug damage is neat holes, not browining of leaves.
