Hi Chris, Good luck with your vegies, hope they give you a reward. I also plant in tubs on my sunny little patio (Just toms), but it's fun to look out the kitchen door and see everything develop.
Oh, all in pots! That takes dedication to water. I have never seen broad beans growing before. I think they are uncommon in my country (USA) and the summers are too hot to grow them in most parts here. I have at least seen them for sale in the import grocery. Never tasted them, though. I'm growing those bright lights chard this year, too. Did you have low germination on them?
Thanks for the kind regards, I love nothing more than checking on my produce daily. Although sometimes its like waitin for a kettle to boil...
Had a run of good luck with the Chard and a good yield from germination. I have a mini plot on a alotment so have a fair few plants there too. It looks so pretty. I did have a few problems when growing it on my alotment, it kept going to seed?? This batch is doin a lot better. Yeah all the things in my yard are all grown in pots as i've no soil 'just concrete. I need to repot a lot of things into bigger pots. I do have to water a lot, thankfully i find it very theraputic..... Take Care and good luck with your chard. I like to cook it briefly in Butter and Garlic. Simple yet beautiful.
Your potted garden is wonderful. Its almost to hot here now to grow in pots. Dooley and DR seem to be doing well with theirs.
