White bell shaped flowers with red flowerets from the center

    I recently aquired this plant as it was pretty interesting looking unfortunately I don't know what it is or how to care for it.

    Any help with the identity would be greatly apprecated.

    Yes, it's a Clerodendrum thomsoniae. We use them for house plants, they can't take the cold outside.

    Thanks for the quick response. Now that I know what it is I looked it up on the web to see how to care for it and found out that it is supposed to be a vine / climber but so far mine is just a short (about 10" tall) shrub.

    I guess I'll just have to wait and see.

    I have one of these that's been growing for about 8 years. It's in a pot & I take it indoors in the winter. Each year it has more blooms that the one before & is wonderful to look at. I prune it vigorously because someone told me the flowers only grow on new vines.
