What do you do with one green bean? Last year, I planted green beans. They didn't do at all well and they put out these little beans that were tough so I just left them. In the fall, I pulled the plants. This spring I planted squash in that spot. Two bean plants came up and today, I found a long green bean on one plant. So, what do you do with one green bean? Let it dry and plant it next year. You should have 5 or 6 plants next year .Then the next year you can end up with a big bunch of green beans :)

If your beans are tough, chances are they aren't getting enough water.

I'd let it dry on the vine and plant the seeds next year.

Save them for next year. They are obviously tough little guys so they will most likely come up.
