I was just wondering, where do boysonberries grow? Anyone here growing them? How do they turn out? Do the insects devour them, too? Do they taste as heavenly as they sound? Are they likely to take over fields?

I am not a fan of anything thats artificial, but i would just about do flips for a taste.

Boysenberries are a cross between a Blackberry, Raspberry and Loganberry, developed back in the 1920's

Being related to those I would think that the same growing conditions apply.
    Gurneys http://gurneys.com/product.asp_Q_pn_E_73978 sells them.

I am not sure i want to spend 10 dollars on a mail-in potted plant. If i can find someone with the berries, would it be possible to germinate them from the seeds it in?? If so, how might one do that? I appreciate the help. :)

The loganberry (Rubus × loganobaccus) is a hybrid cross between a blackberry and a raspberry.
I have no idea what they taste like since I do not like either blackberries or raspberries. ;)

    boysenberries

I think they need full sun and minimum wind to grow. I never tried growing them, but I really like eating them (well, I like all the berries...)
They taste sweet and tart depending on their color - the darker the color, the sweeter the berry :D
