Why can't people just leave my yard alone?

I'm glad you found the penny one. I did love the red one too.

Pianolady I'm really pleased to know that you found your favourite bowling ball. If only the rest would turn up too. :(

Sorry about your loss but I did enjoy seeing the pictures of the bowling balls. I may have to try making one. How are the items attached to the balls?

WOW PL, great tutorial. So simple to follow and very inspiring. I love the idea about using the bowling ball as a bubbler fountain :D

I've been to sooooo many charity shops that I think I've worn my shoes out!!! Not a single one had any bowling balls though. :'( I wonder what happens to the balls over here? I may make a visit to a bowling alley at the week-end and ask them. So frustrating when I want to get started with decorating some of my own. :(

Eileen, try your local bowling alley. Sometimes they throw away their old balls, maybe they will give you a few or at least only charge a small fee.

Bowling alleys are good if you want black. Our's had a pile of throw aways behind their building and are glad to see them go. It'll depend on the owner of the building whether they'll let you have them.

Garage sales are my best place to find them. I'll pay $1 for black, $3 for colored, and up to $5 if they're something special.
