Now that there is a lot of day to day activity I've noticed that we are forming our own language/slang . Therefore I thought it would be a good idea to come up with a glossary for terms we use that visitors and new members may reference. So let's compile a list. I will add new slang mentioned to this list so please help out. Here goes: Bugs - i love bugs (member) Capt - Capt Kirk (member) Chance - Dooley and Desert Rat's dog Chance Security Systems - Chance's fictional security company DR - Desert Rat (member) Eldo - Star of our cartoon strip Stew Life (he's the smart one) FRED - Toni's Garden PL - PianoLady (member) RAA - Rose Addicts Anonymous Tiki - Star of our cartoon strip Stew Life (he's the dim one)
Ive noticed this.... Denee - Pinkiered (or Rose Queen (hehehe)...Ill answer to all! ) Some of you call me by Denee but my screen name is Pinkiered. Either one is fine. but so the new ppl will know and not go looking for Denee...LOL
I go by Kim or Kimmer as well as Kimberly but once and a while someone special here calls me peanut!!!
I love the idea of a glossary like this - I keep a page of "definitions" like this for my Tolkien group and it's fun to look over from time to time as well as being a help to newbies.
As Archie and Max have very little interest in anything except having adventures and posing for photographs they've asked me - their adopted dad - to act as their amanuensis on these boards. Anyway. when these things get written, it's far too late for puppies to be awake and sweating over a hot keyboard.
