I own a complete collection of Agatha Christie books. At the moment I am working my way through them all. About 10 already read, 80 more to go.
Annointed, Redeemed, Transformed, a study of David by Priscilla Shirer, Beth Moore and Kay Aurthur, a great Bible study.
"Outwitting Squirrels" by Bill Adler,Jr. 101 cunning stratagems to reduce dramatically the egregious misappropriation of seed from your birdfeeders by squirrels :-D Wolfie
Just finished Queen City Jazz by Kathleen Ann Goonan. Now reading Rant by Chuck Pahlaniuk. Next up is Gun With Occasional Music by Jonathan Lethem.
I just finished "The Last Song" by Nicholas Sparks. He's been quite a disappointment to me the last several books, and I don't recommend this one either. Much more appropriate for teens as it's about the romance between two high school students. His first book "The Notebook" was such a good read (the only book that ever made me cry), and he hasn't come close to that ever since. Still, Frank, it's got to be better than what you're reading at the moment
If you're looking for a good laugh, read the latest Evanovich novel "Finger Lickin' Fifteen". I always love her characters, and this one has a better plot than her last few. Always unbelievably silly and full of spunk...go Lula!!!
Just finished Rant yesterday. It started off very slow for Palahniuk, but blew my mind the last 100 pages or so. I hadn't read anything by him for a few years, but I think I might be hooked again.
Finished Night Whispers by Judith McNaught last night. Started Audrey Niffenegger's Her Fearful Symmetry
I am reading "My Life in France" by Julia Child. It is delightful. I just finished "Julie and Julia" by Julie someone-or another... it was cute too.
Not much of a reader, but I somehow got hooked on the Twilight series. Now on Eclipse, book #3. I thought at my age I would not enjoy a book about teenage vampires - I was so wrong! At least I have something to talk about to my 16 yr old niece.
I thought they were a fun read too. Also not "my type" of book, so I thought. I had the same experience with Harry Potter. It's fun to talk to kids about the things they read.
